On Friday, January 20, The Southpointe CEO Association held a legistlative update luncheon
to learn what’s happening in Washington and in Harrisburg.

Senator Tim Solobay, Representative Jesse White, and
Nate Nevala, Aide to Congressman Tim Murphy, spoke at the event.





Members a guest enjoyed a wine tasting and chocolate sampling
at Jacksons Restaurant Bar in Southpointe on Wednesday, November 30.

a gathering was held to recognize energy and
energy related companies in Southpointe.

Mylan’s Chairman and CEO Robert J. Coury
Named 2011 World Class CEO by Southpointe CEO Association

PITTSBURGH–June 17, 2011–Mylan Inc. (Nasdaq: MYL) announced that its Chairman and CEO Robert J. Coury was awarded the 2011 World Class CEO Award from the Southpointe CEO Association during a banquet on Thursday, June 16, 2011.

After receiving the award Coury said: “I am very grateful to be recognized by the Southpointe CEO Association with this honor. Throughout the last four years, Mylan has become a world-class, global organization. This distinction is the result of the hard work of a great many talented and dedicated people, and I am extremely proud to accept this award on their behalf.”

“GREEN EVENT"
Paper Shred Day on
Thursday, April 21

Businesses in Southpointe brought bags and boxes of paper to be shredded to Technology Drive in Southpointe on Thursday, April 21. A $5 donation per bag or box benefited the Greater Washington County Food Bank(local charity) and the Polio Eradication Campaign of the Rotary Foundation (international charity)

Southpointe CEO Association invited members to the
Annual Members Meeting on Wednesday, March 23

at the Southpointe Golf Club. Board of Directors spoke about the
operations of the Association.
A "Champagne Toast to the Association" followed the event.
WINTER WHITE VODKA PARTY
was held Feb. 28th at the Hilton Garden Inn/Southpointe.
We officially welcomed the newest members to the Southpointe CEO Association, while having a fun evening of networking and
building business relationships.
