About The Southpointe CEO Association

A remarkable new direction community development, Southpointe provides a “business home” for more than 140 diversified businesses and 5,000 employees in distinctive Class A commercial
buildings. Businesses are integrated with retail space, a hotel and conference center, health and
fitness and recreation centers, restaurants, medical facilities, and family living. The Southpointe
Golf Club winds throughout the 600-acre property creating beautifully landscaped “green space”
for all to enjoy.

In 1998, the forward thinking CEO’s of Southpointe recognized the opportunity to create a new
forum for business peers to come together to share their knowledge, interests and experience. Indicative of the entrepreneurial spirit that permeates Southpointe, several CEO’s met informally, identifed a founding Executive Director and launched the Southpointe CEO Association as a
non-profit organization to fulfill their vision.

Since it’s beginning, the Southpointe CEO Association has maintained a unique approach among organizations of its type. The Association is supported and directed by local CEO's. In keeping with the public-private partnership that gave birth to Southpointe, the Association brings local, national and international leaders to Southpointe for informative and entertaining events; and works with government officials on all levels to build upon and expand Southpointe’s success. The Association aggregates the purchasing power inherent in the concentration of progressive businesses in the park to negotiate special pricing for a variety of business services. Most importantly, it creates a forum for
a pivotal peer group of Southpointe leaders to positively influence the future for the benefit of their businesses, their employees, their customers and their neighbors.
