History
Founded in 1921 in Fairmont, WV for the purpose of distributing mine supplies to coal operations in Kentucky and West Virginia, and later in western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and Illinois. In addition to its continued emphasis on mining and energy, Fairmont has increasingly become a significant MRO supplier to industrial markets over the past three decades. These markets include: mining, steel, aluminum, gas, construction, utilities, paper, machinery and heavy equipment, glass, plastic, and chemical industries.

A full-time transportation manager and support staff provides guidance regarding shipping regulations, material consolidation, and carrier selection. Fairmont Supply also utilizes common carrier and LTL for shipments to customers not included in our delivery pattern.
