David Mariner, Ph.D.
Director of Program Development
Waynesburg University

David Mariner, Ph.D., Director of Program Development, began his career with Waynesburg University in 1999. He served in the admission office at the main campus prior to joining the graduate and professional division in 2002 located in Southpointe. He has helped to grow the division from less than 200 students to over 1,000 students. His passion continues to be helping students achieve their educational and career goals. He has served as a program director, assistant dean and dean prior to becoming the director of program development.

Dr. Mariner is also active in the community and serves on the Southpointe CEO Association Board, the Steering Committee for Comprehensive Planning in Waynesburg, the Comprehensive Planning Committee for Peters Township School District, and a board member for the Home Owners Association in the Overlook Community in Peters Township. In addition, Dr. Mariner is very active at the Bible Chapel where he is a member and serves as a teacher in the Pre-School Praise program.

Dr. Mariner earned a bachelor of science in chemistry from Westminster College, an MBA from Waynesburg University and a Ph. D in Instructional Management and Leadership from Robert Morris University. He resides in McMurray with his wife Julie and their three daughters: Ava, Isabella and Aliza.

Charles C. Keller has practiced law for 65 years, representing both corporate and individual clients in business, estate and litigation matters.

A 1947 Summa Cum Laude graduate of California State College, Keller received its highest undergraduate honor - the Distinguished Service Award. Keller went on to earn his law degree from the Law School of the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 1949.

After years of courtroom experience, including cases before the Pennsylvania and United States Supreme Courts, Keller was elected a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 1989.

Throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania, Keller has also impacted the quality of life with his leadership roles in the Washington County Bar Association, Mon Valley Hospital and the Washington County Community Foundation.

Known for his involvement with Rotary International, Keller has served as the organizationʼs President and Foundation Trustee Chair along with many other senior roles since joining Rotary in 1950.

Douglas G. Lee joined Waynesburg University as executive vice president in October 2009. He was unanimously elected president of the University by the Board of Trustees in September 2012 and took office July 1, 2013. Prior to Waynesburg, Lee was a partner in the law firm of Steptoe and Johnson, PLLC, where he worked for nearly
20 years.

Under Leeʼs leadership, Waynesburg University has received national attention for the economic outcomes of its graduates. The University is also a Pittsburgh Business Times “Best Place to Work for 2015.”

In March 2015, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education reaccredited Waynesburg University for a 10-year period. Currently, Lee is leading the $23 million revitalization of the Paul R. Stewart Science Hall.

Lee was named to the Pennsylvania Business Central's Top 100 People list of 2013 and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America.

Southpointe CEO Association members gather around Lanny Frattare, who spoke to the group as part of the GET IN THE GAME - Leadership Lessons From the World of Sports Series. Scheduled next in the program is Missie Berteotti, LPGA Winner golfer.

Former Seattle Seahawk and current Vice President for Human Resources at All Clad, Dewayne Rideout, addressed the CEO Association on September 19.

He included information about programming that All Clad and other companies are doing in local school districts to engage students in "teaming" around real-life work issue

Southpointe CEO Chairman Kristian White welcomes Steve Blass to theGET IN THE GAME - Leadership Lessons from the World of Sports event.
Blass was the 'starting speaker' for the series.

On May 8th, Southpointe CEO Members enjoyed a Golf Fitness and Golf Swing Clinic. Southpointe Golf Pro Brent Johnson gives CEO Association Member Britt Freund of Bowles and Rice some individualized instruction.
